When a buyer asks AI who’s best
in your category, does it name you?
Free AI visibility checker. See whether Gemini names your business when someone asks a real buyer question.
We put three natural buyer questions to Gemini with live Google Search grounding, then show you the exact businesses it named back.
Ranking on page one used to be the win. Now the win is being the name AI gives.
Buyers using Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini don’t scroll ten blue links any more. They ask for a recommendation and get one or two names back. Those names get the click, the call and the job. Everyone else is invisible, whatever their ranking says.
Questions about the tool.
What is AI visibility, and why does it matter?
AI visibility is whether AI assistants name your business when someone asks them for a recommendation in your category. Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini increasingly answer with one or two businesses instead of a list. If you're not one of them, the buyer never sees you.
Which model does this use, and why Gemini?
Gemini 2.5 Flash, with Google's Search grounding turned on. Gemini is the model behind Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, so it's the closest read on what Google's AI tells buyers about you.
Are these real Gemini results, or guesses?
Real. We send three natural, buyer-style prompts to Gemini with Google Search grounding on, then pull out the specific business names each answer gives.
Why is my business sometimes not shown when I know it exists?
AI answers aren't a directory listing. Even a well-known business can be missing from a single run if the model didn't retrieve pages that named it.
Does this cover ChatGPT and Perplexity too?
Not directly. Only Gemini exposes the grounding data this tool reads. In practice the off-site signals that decide who gets named look much the same across engines.
Why do the results change if I run the same check twice?
AI answers are non-deterministic. Gemini can name different businesses across two runs of the same prompt, because the search results behind the answer keep shifting.
Is my query stored anywhere?
No. We don't log anything about your business or your check. The prompts do go to Google's Gemini API, so Google's API terms apply on their end.
Want to know why AI isn’t naming you, and how to fix it?
The audit runs this check across every variant a real buyer would type, pulls the sources feeding each answer, and shows you exactly which off-site signals to build to change the outcome.
